About

The first time that I picked up a 35 mm camera in college I was hooked on photography. After my involvement with the MSU yearbook I gravitated toward nature and scenic photography. I have learned the craft of photography through reading, camera clubs and working with other photographers. I have learned the art of photography through experience in the field, inspired by the dramatic contrasts of light and shadow, lines, patterns and textures that I encountered.
I have traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada seeking out and finding beauty in the smallest wildflower to the grandest landscape. I hope viewers of my work will share the awe and reverence I feel for nature and the beauty that surrounds us.
